We champion an approach that supports options for olders adults to have choice and dignity — ensuring that Canadians can grow old in their communities and older adults can live well, feel connected and have a sense of fulfillment every day.

In partnership with Idea Couture, SE Health launched The Future of Aging in 2019. The book challenges the cultural norms and stereotypes of aging and captures SE Health's ongoing dedication to reimagining aging through innovation, collaboration, and curiosity for change.

Covenant family

The Covenant family—consisting of Covenant Health, Covenant Care and Covenant Living—is Canada’s largest Catholic healthcare provider and a strong partner in Alberta’s integrated health system. Covenant builds on a 158-year legacy, grounded in a calling to attend to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those they serve and to provide compassionate, person-centred care that honours all. The Covenant team of over 16,000 provides acute care, continuing care and independent living services at 26 sites in 15 communities across Alberta. Rooted in an enduring mission, Covenant is a leader in developing care models designed around the patient/resident journey. Covenant works with health and industry partners provincially and nationally to engage seniors and providers in a new vision for better aging and to harness the power of innovation and technology to drive change across the continuum.

Since 2014, Covenant’s Network for Excellence in Seniors Health and Wellness to has invested $3 million in 18 projects, working with industry and partners, to test and verify new products, services, and practices in a wide spectrum of settings across the province.
