At 77, what keeps me aging well is having purpose. I run a social enterprise dedicated to intergenerational work worldwide, supporting intergenerational clubs in Calgary and beyond.
Beyond my professional work, I stay deeply involved in my community—volunteering at my church, mentoring young women, leading a national intergenerational community of practice and offering support to friends in need. I cherish my book club and play pickleball as often as possible.
Making a positive difference has always been my mission. Seeing others learn, grow and thrive motivates me every day. My faith guides me to treat everyone with love and I’m inspired by women who have achieved greatness despite humble beginnings.
One of my greatest joys is being active with my five grandchildren—I take my role as a grandmother seriously! I truly believe that older adults have the power to shape and inspire the next generation.
